the South Central Chapter of PaLA for a special lunch event at the Turkey
Hill Experience in Columbia PA on Wednesday, November 7th at 11:30am.
Enjoy lunch, reacquaint with old Library friends and meet new friends too! Meet members of the South Central Chapter Leadership Team and find out how you can take part in the Chapter as we work to revitalize our presence in Central PA!
First Five people to register are FREE! Next 25 registrants are $5.00. All others are $7.50. The price includes lunch and a tour of the Turkey Hill Experience (normal cost for lunch and tour is over $20.00…) You will also receive an entry for a special door prize drawing!

Serving people with learning differences - the South Center Chapter in partnership with Janus School
You will come away from this workshop with tools valuable in serving clients of all ages and abilities who are affected by learning differences.
Pathfinders and contact lists will be provided to all attendees along with guides for working with volunteers and employees affected by learning differences.
In addition to detailed sessions a panel discussion will be held featuring individuals living with and professionals who work with people with learning differences.
The Autism Resource Center at Lancaster Public Library and Pennsylvania ASERT: Pennsylvania Autism Services - Education, Resources, Training will be present along with representatives from other organizations that serve people with special needs.
There will be a brief report-out from the survey that was conducted and the prized gecko will be awarded to one lucky survey respondent.
A special gift will be presented to each attendee and there will be several door prizes awarded during the lunch break.
Seating is limited so please - register soon! NOTE: This event has been approved for Act 48 credits
